This is the light kit I put in the pools I install. The Pentair MicroBrite is a 12 volt color LED only 3.5 inches long. It screws into a standard 1.5 inch pool wall fitting, so there is no big niche to cut into the wall of a vinyl pool. You get five fixed colors and seven color shows. The 100 watt Intermatic transformer mounts near the equipment pad and will run up to four of these lights.

About the 50 ft cord
Cord length matters. The cord is sealed into the light and cannot be extended at the fitting, so measure from the light location along the wall and over to where the transformer will mount. 50 feet covers most above ground and semi-inground pools with the equipment pad close by. If the pad is on the far side of the yard, get the 100 ft cord version.
Control it from the pump app
I pair these lights with the Pentair 011066 variable speed pump. That pump has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a built-in relay, so the light wires to the pump relay and you turn it on, off and change the color from the same Pentair app you run the pump with. No separate light switch or timer on the wall.
Fits
Vinyl liner pools, above ground, semi-inground or inground, including every Aquasport 52, Dauntless, Atlas and Lamark pool I sell. Screws into any standard 1.5 inch pool wall fitting.
Adding more lights
This transformer runs up to four MicroBrite lights, so for a second, third or fourth light you only need the single MicroBrite light with wall fitting, 50 ft cord or the 100 ft cord version. No second transformer.

The only other things you will need are an electrician for the 120 volt side and some 1 inch electrical conduit for the cord run, available at any hardware store.
