I tell people not to buy a pool for its frame, because the wall is what matters most. That said, the Atlas frame is ridiculously robust: there is a massive amount of resin in the top rail, and it makes the pool super rigid. I buy straight from the manufacturer with no middleman, so instead of stocking two or three wall designs I can offer you the factory’s whole catalog: four frame colors and eight steel prints, or three aluminum prints on the Atlas Lasa. Pick the frame, pick the wall, and the pool is built to your order.
There are no better pool walls than American-made US steel. This wall is G90 hot-dipped galvanized steel, painted, then corrugated for extra strength, and it comes in eight printed designs. Every kit ships with a butterfly gasket so chlorinated water never touches the cut edges at the skimmer and return. Rolled-wall pools are 90 percent or more of the above ground market, and the only other maker using this grade of steel is Doughboy, and only on their top-of-the-line models. I was a Doughboy dealer for years; you can read my Doughboy review.

Why this pool
Steel wall available in 8 printed designs to match your yard. G90 hot-dipped galvanized US steel, painted and corrugated for strength, with a butterfly gasket at the skimmer and return so water never reaches a cut edge. Steel or aluminum wall? Read the comparison.
Extruded resin top rails 9 inches wide on 7 inch uprights, in white, light gray, light brown or charcoal. Resin does not rust and never needs paint, and it will not scratch or dent like metal frame pools.
The 52-inch wall is the industry standard for above ground pools: about four feet of water, perfect for kids of all ages and for floating in the sun.
Swimline Perma 2500 full-print beaded liner, made by America’s largest above ground pool liner supplier. Cut to fit this pool, available in 3 patterns, included in the price.
Pick your package: Really Good, Better or Best
Every package adds the Confer 7200 A-frame ladder with the locking roll barrier, so the real difference is the filter, the pump and the tool kit.
Really Good, sand filter is the crazy value. For $713 you get the complete 175 lb sand filter system: the filter, the 1.5 HP 2-speed pump, the pressure gauge, the hoses and clamps and the filter-and-pump base, plus the Confer 7200 ladder and the 9-piece tool kit. Sand is the simplest filter to live with, you backwash it and go, and it is what I usually recommend to people who don’t consider themselves handy.
Really Good, cartridge filter is $763: the 120 square foot cartridge filter system with a 2-speed pump, the same ladder and tool kit. It catches finer dirt and you clean it with a hose instead of backwashing.
Better steps up to the Hayward XStream 150, a bigger cartridge that goes longer between cleanings, which includes the Hayward Matrix 2-speed pump and my Elite pool cleaning tools kit.
Best is that same XStream 150 with a Speck E71-II variable speed pump: program it once and it runs cheaper all season.

Backed by a maker you can actually reach
Why listen to me? I have been in this industry for 40 years, and I was a dealer for just about every manufacturer out there before I found Aquasport Pools LLC, the Buster Crabbe factory. That is why I sell better pools than most. Some big names sell a cheaper line under the same badge. Aquasport does not, so you always know what you are getting. And when something goes wrong, you reach the people who built the pool. No secretaries, no wall of any kind. That is rare in this industry, and a warranty is only as good as the company behind it.
The warranty, in plain English
Our warranty is 30 years. Others print 60 years and lifetime. We could print the same thing, but it is misleading, so we don’t. Every rolled-wall maker, ours included, prorates the wall to 50 percent after just two years. What matters is everything else: every other part of this pool can be repaired or replaced with parts that are actually available, parts I have gotten for customers this season. No pool dealer stocks parts, and I don’t either. What counts is easy access when a tree comes down and breaks your top rail. Now imagine your dealer trying to get that part from out of the country, or from one of the giant corporations most above ground pools come from. My rep at the factory may take a few days on a quote or a shipment, but we are not playing phone tag or waiting on a call back. This year he even got one of my customers a sweetheart price on a replacement wall for an eight-year-old pool, where a leak, not the wall, had caused the damage.
Questions people ask before they order
Is the liner included in the $2,880?
Yes. Pick one of the three patterns above. The Hayward skimmer package is included too.
What do I still need to buy?
If you are replacing a pool, likely nothing else. If you are buying your first kit you will need a pump, a filter, a ladder and cleaning and maintenance tools. The Really Good package covers all of that, $713 with a sand filter or $763 with a cartridge; Better and Best step up the filter and pump. Or pick your own in the custom kit pool builder.
Does free shipping apply to me?
Yes for most of the country. Twelve western states pay a $350 shipping fee on a pool package, added at checkout: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
How does it compare to your other pools?
Every kit I sell, with its complete price, is side by side on the above ground pool kits page. Lamark is the value line; Atlas adds frame colors and bigger sizes, Dauntless is all aluminum, and Aquasport 52 is the panel-wall pool that can go in the ground.
Can I run a salt system on it?
You can, but a chlorine generator voids the 30-year warranty from Aquasport Pools LLC. Salt is corrosive to metal and is better suited to soft-side, fiberglass or concrete pools.
Can I see it installed?
Yes. The Atlas brochure and photo gallery has installed photos and the full spec sheet.
